Meet Miss Luzi, a Bay Area native who’s been dancing in her heart since she was four. With roots in traditional Mexican dance through Ballet Folkorico, she later trained with a company in the East Bay for six years, mastering Ballet, Tap, Jazz, and Hip Hop. As a Granada High School alum, she cheered and stomped her way through the Granada High Cheerleading and Stunt Teams.
After discovering her true passion for dance, Miss Luzi began teaching in 2022, which inspired her to return to her own dance journey. Now, she’s an active member of Groove Generation at In the Groove Studios, learning from talented local and international choreographers.
Miss Luzi’s goal is to share her love for dance with others, creating a safe and fun space for self-expression. As she puts it, “Dance is a series of movement and exploration within yourself. It’s a way to connect with your own body and be liberated in the moment. When I’m dancing, I feel the most connected to myself.”
We’re thrilled to welcome Miss Luzi to our team as an instructor, and we know her passion and energy will shine through in every class!”
